Maulana Muhammad Salim Qasmi is the great grandson of Hujjatul Islam Imam Muhammad Qasim Nanatawi, the founder of the top influential Islamic seminary, Darul Uloom Deoband in Indian Subcontinent has passed away. He was a chief rector Darul Uloom Waqf Deoband, the Vice President of “The All India Muslim Personal Law Board”.
Maulana Muhammad Salim Qasmi was only surviving disciple of Hakimul Ummat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanawi.
